The bed frame can be cleaned with a damp cloth. The removable mattress covers can be washed at 30 °C (gentle cycle). Not suitable for tumble drying.

Our camping bed for cars has undergone a load test that simulates typical use by people weighing up to 250 kg.

• When assembled without a stabilizer plate, the legs are not sufficently stable and can buckle.
• If the bed is assembled or disassembled carelessly, there is a risk of entrapment and crushing.
• Assembly on uneven surfaces can lead to the bed becoming unstable.

For some vehicle models, the mounts for the front legs of the bed must be moved forward during the initial setup so that the stabilizer plate can be positioned properly.

To do this, you must unscrew the pre-assembled mounts using a 10 mm wrench and then screw them back on a little further forward.

"Schlofe" means "to sleep" in the Cologne dialect. Since this camping bed was designed and developed in Cologne, and since the travel tiger team lives here, it was important to us that our product names reflect that.

You can adjust the position of the legs to suit the interior of your car. To compensate for any minor unevenness, you can screw out the feet of the bed up to approx. 3 cm. You can also adjust the height of the bed and have a height range of 42 to 60 cm.

Depending on the vehicle model, it is approx. 55-65 cm from the mattress of the camping bed to the vehicle's ceiling.

Under the bed frame there is an area of 106 × 60 × 33 cm. We recommend using 3 storage containers (Euroboxes) measuring 40.5 × 30 × 33 cm. This size can be stowed perfectly under the camping bed and is easily accessible from the trunk.

With a surface area of 200 × 110 cm, it is designed as a double camping bed and is therefore ideal for 2 people — whether it's set up in or outside of a car. Of course, you can also sleep on it alone.

As the mattress is vacuum-packed for delivery, it needs a few hours after unpacking to regain its original shape. To do this, lay it on a flat surface without packaging for at least 5 hours, preferably overnight.

You will receive the camping bed for your car in a few pre-assembled individual parts. You only need to screw the bed frame to the base with the U-frame legs once.
